Alex Ouwens and Nathan Casserly have built Ouwens Casserly Real Estate, better known as OC, into arguably one of Australia’s fastest-growing independent residential property firms since establishment in only 2014.

During this period, OC has sold well over $3 billion in property and now employ with a team of over 100+ passionate property people. Now selling approximately 1000 homes per year and managing over 1600 rentals.

After using a buyer’s agent himself in his early investing years and studying financial planning, Julian sought to enter the property industry with a business that would do things differently.

His success with residential and commercial property acquisitions nationally and vast experience in the corporate world meant he had a compelling vision of what a great real estate advisory business should look like.

In addition to leading Hands, Peter is the principal of Peter Baines Consulting. Peter helps businesses build effective sustainable leadership programs through a unique mix of leadership and corporate social responsibility initiatives. His corporate social responsibility platforms create goodwill, staff engagement and sustainable change.

Peter was awarded the Order of Australian Medal in 2014 for service to international humanitarian aid in Thailand.

John is the original ideas man behind businessDEPOT and now is responsible for strategy, growth and managing the overall group. John is well known with the real estate industry as a leading adviser and accountant to real estate businesses on all things from profit to strategy, growth, accounting processes, tax and succession.

Leading the business advisory service offering John often presents at conferences, facilitates workshops, consults on specific projects and delivers one-on-one coaching services.

Chris Rolls has built and sold 4 business, 3 of which have become amongst the largest of their kind in Australia. As founder and CEO of Rental Express, Chris built one of Australia’s largest property management businesses with over 5000 properties under management which he sold in 2015.
As Managing Director of Australia’s first Real Estate Industry Venture Capital Fund, Chris has spent the last 6 years on a journey to discover what the future holds for the Australian Real Estate Industry. That journey has taken him to multiple countries, including study at Harvard Business School, University of California Berkeley and the world’s leading educational institution on exponential technology, Singularity University. He’s conducted countless interviews with leaders in the real estate industry, CEO’s of technology disrupters, and also spoken personally with the institutions that are pouring billions of dollars into ideas whose sole purpose is to take a slice of the trillions of dollars that keep the worldwide real estate industry alive.
